Our Services

We are so honored that you have chosen this space to support your personal growth, advocacy, and restoration. Our self-help and motivational services are designed to empower individuals to achieve personal and professional growth. With tailored strategies and expert guidance, we help you unlock your full potential and overcome life's challenges.

Before we begin our work together, please review the following information regarding our partnership.

Scope of Practice (Coaching vs. Therapy)

  • Lilies Dipped in Gold provides specialized Coaching, Advocacy, and Psychoeducational Consultation.

  • My Background: I am currently a Master’s candidate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at North Carolina A&T State University (Expected 2026).

  • The Distinction: While our sessions may draw upon my counseling training and university experience, these services do not constitute clinical therapy, medical treatment, or psychological diagnosis.

  • The Goal: Our work is focused on skill-building, university navigation, and personal resiliency. If you require deep clinical processing or long-term mental health treatment, I am happy to help you navigate a referral to a licensed clinician through a "Golden Compass" session.

Privacy, FERPA, & HIPAA

  • Your trust is my priority. While these services are not "covered" under HIPAA in the same way a doctor's office is, I adhere to the American Counseling Association (ACA) Code of Ethics regarding your privacy:

  • Confidentiality: What you share in our sessions stays between us.

  • Student Records: If we are discussing university-specific matters, I operate with a deep respect for FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) and will never share your academic or conduct information with third parties without your written consent.

  • Exceptions: Privacy is limited in cases where there is an imminent risk of harm to yourself or others, or in the event of a court order

Mandated Reporting & Referral Policy

  • As a professional in training, I am committed to your safety.

  • Referrals: If at any point it becomes clear that your needs exceed the scope of coaching (e.g., active crisis, severe symptoms, or trauma requiring clinical intervention), I reserve the right to pause coaching and provide you with a referral to a licensed therapist or emergency services.

  • Safety First: If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact 988 (Crisis Lifeline) or go to your nearest emergency room.

Cancellation & Grace Policy

  • We understand that life, classes, and work can be unpredictable.

  • 24-Hour Notice: Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule.

  • The Grace Policy: I offer one "Life Happens" rescheduling per client per year without penalty. Subsequent cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.

  • Late Arrivals: If you are more than 15 minutes late, your session may be shortened or rescheduled to ensure the quality of the service.

Investment & Payment

  • All fees are due at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged. This ensures that our time together is focused entirely on your growth rather than administrative tasks.
