• We are devoted to empowering young, professional BIPOC individuals to bloom boldly in their truth.

    We exist to:

    1. Showcase and instill Black pride, Black excellence, and BIPOC confidence,

    2. Bring awareness to mental health issues within the Black and Brown community,

    3. Provide resources that connect mental health to Black and Brown culture,

    4. Spread knowledge on healthy relationships, self-care, and sexual wellness,

    5. Break barriers  between Black and Brown people and therapy, creating a safe, welcoming space for healing.

  • At Lillies Dipped in Gold, we take a culturally grounded, compassionate approach to mental wellness. Carefully designed for young, professional BIPOC individuals, our platform blends evidence-based practices with culturally informed perspectives to make healing feel accessible, relatable, and empowering.

We focus on normalizing mental health conversations, breaking stigma in Black and Brown communities, and providing tools that support emotional wellness, healthy relationships, self-care, sexual wellness, and identity growth.

  • The LILY represents purity, devotion, love, and rebirth - a symbol of new beginnings & self-acceptance.

Together, they tell the story of transformation — healing through love, growth, and self-knowledge.

  • I, Breanna L. Worthey, am dedicated to guiding young adults and their support systems through life's most challenging transitions—from navigating complex campus policies to managing the internal stresses of professional life.

My Approach is Built on Specialized Experience and Cultural Humility:

My passion for this work stems from years of service, primarily on HBCU campuses and in other BIPOC-driven settings. This experience has given me a unique lens: I see the immediate need for accountability and structure, while always recognizing the underlying systemic, mental health, and developmental hurdles students face. I bring a blend of clinical knowledge and real-world strategy to my coaching and consulting.

    • I prioritize culturally-responsive practices tailored to address the impacts of systemic stress, racial trauma, and identity management among BIPOC students and young professionals.

    • I am committed to providing affirming spaces that honor and support the distinct transitional and identity challenges faced by the LGBTQIA+ community.

    • I specialize in creating neurodiversity-affirming spaces that honor unique learning styles and processing differences.

    My Commitment to Your Future:

I hold a Master's degree in Counseling and am currently anticipating graduation this spring. I am actively preparing to pursue licensure as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate (LCAS-A) in North Carolina.

I launched this coaching and consulting practice to immediately serve the need for strategic, skill-based support. I look forward to expanding soon to offer comprehensive, licensed individual counseling services.

Whether you need a clear strategy for a conduct hearing or structured support for complex burnout, I am here to help you move forward.
